Antonio joined the firm in May of 2015. He is experienced in assisting clients with estate planning for individuals and families as well as trust and estate administration and guardianships. Antonio has represented clients in superior court actions for trust reformation and secured services for adults with developmental disabilities who had initially been denied by BHDDH. Antonio was named a 2019 honoree of Rhode Island Monthly’s Professional Excellence in Law awards for Wills, Trusts & Estates. Previously Antonio worked as an associate at firms in Rhode Island and Worcester, Massachusetts where he focused his practice on civil litigation. With a background in litigation Antonio brings a unique perspective to his practice and clients.
Antonio has taught undergraduate courses in Legal Research & Writing at Roger Williams University. He is admitted to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the the Rhode Island Bar Association. Antonio is fluent in both Spanish and Italian.
Antonio is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of the New England School of Law. During his law school career Antonio served as an intern for the Office of the Prosecutor at the United Nation International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (the “ICTY”) in The Hague, Netherlands. While at the ICTY, Antonio worked on the prosecution’s case against General Ante Gotovina. Antonio also served as an Editor of the New England Law Review.
He holds degrees in Spanish and Italian literature and worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the University of Connecticut.
